Dragon Age: The Veilguard Rook’s Weapons Appearance Offer

Another update. 

Spoke with about 8 different support agents. Each one confirming the game as well as the DLC do not show up that I own them on my account. All they do is say they will "escalate" this issue and fill out a report which we all know will do nothing. 

This could be the cause of this issue as well? My EA account does not show that I own the DLC items. I used an appearance unlocked mod today as well however the DLC items do not seem to be showing up at all in any of my saves (even crossed out). 

I checked back again, as I thought it was not fixed. The items have disappeared again, and don't show up anymore.

The save I made after equipping the items still had the items there however when I went into the chest again they immediately disappeared. The only item left is the lighthouse outfit which I equipped one of the pre order items on. That slot remained unchanged however the combat items I equipped (the DLC items) all disappeared as soon as I got into the wardrobe screen. 

This issue proceeds to elude us 11 months on...

Okay I've done a bit more testing. 

• I made a brand new save once I opened the chest and made sure all the DLC was there.
• I went and loaded a more recent save however the DLC did not show up. 
• I want back to the first save and the DLC was still there so that's a good sign. 
• I went back to the save I had when I first got to the lighthouse. The DLC message appeared again as well as the chest however the items were not unlocking after I opened the chest again. 

So I don't think this issue is 100% fixed as of yet but I will update with any other info I have. 

AFTER TYPING THIS POST THE DLC HAS SHOWN UP I'M NOT SURE IF IT'S PERMANENT OR IF IT WILL DISAPPEAR AGAIN HOWEVER I'M SO EXTATIC RIGHT NOW!! IT NEVER HAS UNLOCKED FOR ME BEFORE SO IM HOPING IT'S A PERMANENT FIX!! PLEASE CHECK YOUR GAMES NOW AND LET ME KNOW IF IT WORKED FOR YOU ALSO!! EA_Shepard​ was this your doing??

Another update:

I just loaded up a save I had right after the prologue (there seems to be issues with EA servers atm) and the chest has shown up in the lighthouse. This only ever happened once before. However the same issue I had the first time it ever showed is present here still. The items never get unlocked, even though I opened the chest and got the message about the DLC.

However no DLC unlocks and when I opened the chest I got no notifications of the items being retrieved:

The server issue may have something to do with it? Another sense of false hope unfortunately. I don't even want to turn off the game right now because I know the chest is going to disappear again. 

That's interesting, totally puts you off pre-ordering anything though.

People who had pre ordered BF6 seemed to have had a similar issue to us but it was able to be resolved as far as I can tell. I don't think we have the same resources available to us for it to be fixed. But is it possible to see what the BF6 team did to fix the issue as it could be a similar fix for us?

Yeah it seems like the DLC is in the base game itself but only unlocks if the servers notice that you have them. For those of us with this bug the servers are not showing that we have the DLC's unlocked. It has to do with the EA server side, I think we were told a while ago it was the DA servers in particular causing this issue. I did try out the DAI multiplayer mode and added a new world state into Inquisition itself to see if it would wake up somehow but it didn't seem to work.

I really think you are on to something, wexxam​. I think it has something to do with hoe the DA DLC is handled less like a normal DLC that can be installed and uninstalled as we like.

I wasn't able to send a save file as I'm unsure how, would you still need this from me as well? I've showed screenshots of it not being in my game even though it shows on my account they are there. Also as kdarnell2 said the Sims 4 packs seem to work for me, it is just this DLC where they are not showing up in the game.
