Game Crashing Constantly After Patch

I've been experiencing constant crashes since Patch 1 with a 4080 Super on Steam.

Same! Didn't have any issues playing the first week at all, but after this first patch I've had more crashes than I can count. Also, Steam player with a 3070

Update: I capped my frames at 60 and it has been running fine. Miss the buttery smooth uncapped frames, but at least I can play the game

Spoke too soon. Had one good day playing, but now back to constant crashes.

Same. I've check all the boxes and game still crashes randomly. Sometimes I get a couple of hours, other times a few minutes. It's very tiresome. 

Imagine if they actually responded they were aware of this issue

I would be genuinely surprised. 

It's getting really frustrating.. I've been a long-time supporter/enjoyer of Bioware, so I was willing to be patient but it's been 2 weeks and I can't even play the game that I pre-ordered & set time aside for.

Yeah, imo it's gone past the point of "reasonable expectations" for the game to function.

I can completely understand the more minor (but annoying) bugs like ultimates resetting to not be explicitly addressed, but you'd think "So the game is completely unplayable because it shuts my system off entirely" would be a major bug that would be addressed ASAP as a hotfix.

when or they going to fix this game i am tried of waiting i can not slay the fangscrorcher and save the kidnapped dalish why did they release this game if it was not ready to play
