Game needs admin permissions

This game used to run great, now, I have been trying to get it to run for days to no avail. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, followed all the suggestions in discussions on the subject, but nothing works. Every time I try to start the game, it gives me the pop up that it needs admin permissions. I have chosen run as administrator for the game, EA App, and Frosty Mod Manager....no matter which way I try to start the game, I get the same pop up. I have almost thrown my computer several times because of this....can anyone help??

Do this to be on the save side in regards to the drivers. (Read it to the end and download the drivers beforehand.)

    1.  Follow this manual to the letter to clean uninstall all NVIDIA graphic driver components.
IMPORTANT: if you use a Pin to log into Windows 11 don't use DDU in safe mode!
Use it in your normal Windows session.
If you have BitLocker encryption enabled, ensure you have your Recovery Key handy before rebooting into Safe Mode. In some cases, Windows may requested it.
    2. After you uninstalled the NVIDIA driver do the same with the Intel Driver
    3. Here you can find the NVIDIA and Intel graphics driver for your Laptop (The are old but use them first.) > Install the Intel driver first.
    4. Restart the Laptop.
    5. Install the NVIDIA driver.
    6. Restart the Laptop.
    7. Test.

If that still don't helps vanilla the game.

      Please clear your temp files:

      • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time to open the Run dialog box.
      • Into the new window, type or copy & paste:  "%temp%"  (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
      • Now your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
(If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)

      Then:

      • Go here and download "Revo Uninstaller. (The freeware version, Portable version works too.)
      • Run "Revo Uninstaller" > Uninstall DAtV.
      • At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "Advance" > Browse.
      • If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next
      • When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All > Delete.
      • Restart the PC
      • Download and install DAtV.  Do NOT install any mods or anything that is not native to the game yet.
      • Run EA app as Administrator > Click the EA app shortcut on your desktop > Run as Administrator.
      • Test the game.
  • Since it happens even when launching the .exe directly (no Frosty), try these:

    • Right-click the game folder (usually in EA or Steam) → Properties → Security tab → Edit → Give your user account "Full control".
    • Disable any antivirus/overlays (especially EA App overlay) temporarily.
    • Run a clean boot to see if some background program is interfering.

If nothing works, it might be a corrupted install or Windows permission issue. You could try creating a new Windows user account as a test. With Bonuskaartonline at Albert Heijn you can get discounts on premium games.
