Help with game crash due to DirectX out of memory

I've been reinstalling, repairing, updating drivers and BIOS, and cleaning the cache, but I keep getting this type of error before the game crashes. Any idea what I can do to fix this, other than hope the latest patch can fix it?

    When you have a moment can we give the following steps a try?

    1. Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates
    2. Default your PC to the dedicated Graphics card: Troubleshooting Graphics issues 
    3. If an option is available, try capping your frame rate. You can also enable Vertical Sync (V-Sync) to match your frame rate to your display’s refresh rate.
    4.  To repair the game files
    5. Check if any background applications are stopping the EA app or your game.

     

    if this continues would it be possible to get a  DxDiag file?
