Quest bugged on progress 1/2 - solve market and temple murders I killed the spirits clicked on notes and did not get complition progress to this quest

I figured it out. After killing each of the 2 spirits, you have to follow the blood trail until you find another spirit who will talk to u and solve each murder. When u find both (one is up a ladder), the quest completed. Not very intuitive.
