Inputs keep swapping to controller when using M&K

I've barely started playing and the system keeps swapping my controls from mouse and keyboard to controller, which is frustrating as I have never even connected a controller to my pc. Is anyone else ...

Do you have a steering wheel or rudder pedals connected or some other kind of device that might make controller inputs?
