Lavellan Inquisitor - but it's not

On my last playthrough I made my Inquisitor a Qunari Adaar Inquisitor.

On this playthrough I imported my elf from my last playthrough. I didn't do anything with my Inquisitor because I wanted it to be as Bioware intended and see how a Solavellan would playthrough. When I got to my first convo with the Inquisitor, it imported my Adaar Inquisitor from my last game, but the game also thinks they're an elf? The Qunari Inquisitor was referred to as Lavellan and also my Elf Rook could speak to them as if the Inquisitor was an elf as well.
