This shouldve been in the patch notes and its weird that it wasnt, but I agree that it’s nice to have at least some confirmation now. And yet… there’s still the double standard with players being able to still romance a hardened neve AND lucanis has no time to pursue a romance with us anymore but hes got time for neve later, right? unless this patch also made this lock temporary like neve’s. if someone can confirm this that would be great, otherwise if its still locked permanently, then this is still an incredibly illogical and frustrating decision
So I have both a Nevemancer and a Lucanismancer. I reloaded through this decision and can confirm that Neve did not get a similar pop up on the Nevemancer when Minrathous was blighted. Only romanced Lucanis gets that new pop up stating the romance is locked. So it looks like it's still permanent and just for Lucanis, just made clearer.
I'll admit I haven't played through to determine the lock is permanent still, but I don't think they'd add that note if it was only temp (especially since Neve didn't get a similar one)
Edit to add: my Lucanismancer is a Shadow Dragon, and I still got the breakup pop up when choosing the SD specific dialogue options
Anyways, I'll probably be taking a break from the game (or at least that Rook) until someone mods it
