Mouse and keyboard unresponsive

The game is now unplayable as the mouse and keyboard are regularly unresponsive. This affects both gameplay and the use of the menus. It started a while back when I was nearing act 1 and I fixed it initially by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. However, the problem has now reoccurred and it's got worse.

After some research I gathered there might be an issue with Razer peripherals, so I replaced my Razer mouse with a Corsair M65. It didn't help. For reference I am using a Corsair K70R keyboard.

I have tried the standard troubleshooting solutions: repaired game files, updated all my drivers, lowered the graphics settings and uninstalled and reinstalled (about 4 times). 

My system is a Dell G15 with the following specs:

GPU: NVidia GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHz
RAM: 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable)
SSD: 500GB

    I have the same issue on Mouse and Keyboard. I have tried all the "fixes". Would love to see any help on the OP message.

    There are also a lot of problems with controllers, I was one of them that experienced such problems. Such as keyboard binds showing up instead of the controller ones and the controllers not responding with some buttons or not even working at all. After a lot of searching I found out that the newest update from Microsoft is most likely the culprit. The '24H'-something.. update. After uninstalling that I've been playing again without any problems. Maybe it works for you too :)

    Thanks very much for your advice. I did the uninstall and reinstalled the game. Only played for about 20 minutes but no problems so far. I'm hoping that fixed it. I'll give it a good run tomorrow to test it out. Much obliged.
