Preorder bonus armor missing
Preordered a physical copy of the game. Been playing through the story, and there is still no bonus armor showing in my inventory. Anyone else dealing with this glitch?
Hello, can some EA Community Manager confirm if the game through Geforce Now Ultimate Promo gets the Pre-Order bonus, because before the launch it showed in the EA App as Pre-Order for the Standard version of the game and it was clearly checked and counted as Pre-Order, but right now it's missing from Manage>Additional Content.
I've bought the Deluxe Upgrade yesterday and it's the only thing that is shown there. Judging by Star Wars Jedi: Survivor it should include separate DLC for Pre-Order and Deluxe Content, right?
If that is the case, please allow us to buy the Pre-Order separately because I would've bought it directly through EA App.
Since you purchased the deluxe upgrade, EA app should show the following under manage add-ons if you have the preorder bonus as well:
• "Dragon Age™: The Veilguard Deluxe Edition Upgrade
In-game content" <- Deluxe Edition content
• "Dragon Age™: The Veilguard
In-game content" <- Preorder bonus
This is what shows up for me. So it says I have both installed however they are not showing up in my game no matter what I do.
I saw you tried reinstalling, repairing, etc. Have you tried the nuclear option? I.e., in the EA app menu, select "Go offline" to try to prevent EA app from redownloading previously saved settings and saves, then delete %USERPROFILE%\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age The Veilguard (make a backup first), then start a new game from scratch. If the missing content shows up in the Lighthouse, make a manual save, then set EA app back in online mode.
Also, when you uninstalled the game (before reinstalling), were any files left behind in %PROGRAMFILES%\EA Games\Dragon Age The Veilguard? If there were Veilguard files left behind, you might want to try a clean reinstall (i.e., uninstall and make sure no Veilguard files were left behind before reinstalling).
Have you contacted EA support? It might be more their issue.
I've tried the online chat, and they've said that currently it was known bug, but I doubt my case is the same because it's missing from Manage>Additional Content.
Yeah that's not a bug that's a them issue. They might be confused by the actual bug of it being missing. EA Sup is kinda useless to be fair.
