Progression blocked in Regrets of the Dread Wolf

I've hit what I think is a bug in the Regrets of the Dread Wolf quest, in the memory you enter in the north part of the Mountainside Eluvians area of the Crossroads. I think what caused it was entering the area without progressing very far down the tunnel you drop into, deciding I didn't want to do it at that point and quitting the game. This was many gameplay hours ago though so I can't be sure.

The issue is that nothing seems to spawn in the mission and I'm unable to break the first door blocked by stones you come across (Pic1 in attachments). I don't know if there's supposed to be an explosive barrel or ballista around to get through the doorway but nothing appears in the area.

It's possible to bypass the door by jumping at the right side of the door from the ledge on the right and progress further into the area. I can reach the area with the burning tree and the ballista on the upper floor and break through the next stone-blocked door (Pic2), but in the courtyard beyond all I get are some explosion effects and no way to progress through the next door. No enemies spawn at any point following the above steps (Pic3).

I'm playing the game on the EA App and am on V.1394942 according to Settings > Other. Not playing with any mods.
