PS5 Hard Crash

I'm having the same problem. It doesn't seem to be a heat issue because the whole PS5 is cool to the touch, and the fans aren't laboring. And it's not a dust issue, because my PS5 is clean inside. Sometimes it hard crashes during a cut scene, sometimes during regular play. Yesterday evening it happened while I was paused. This isn't an issue with any of my other games.

Fingers crossed we get a fix soon.

Just happened to me as well. Booted up the siege mission and make it past opening the gate and my system completely shuts off. It was fine until this moment.

I've been having issues with freezing/crashing since it released. I can't even play bc how often I experience it.

Same here on Xbox Series X. And I've spoken with a handful of other people directly that have also had the same issue.

None of the proposed "fixes" have worked.

Things tried:

Full uninstall/reinstall

Delete local saves

Restart characters

Turn off internet

Turn off "Capture Mode" on console

Play with headphones instead of soundbar

Play in fidelity mode

Same here. Been having issues since launch and won't go into it. This needs a fix but BioWare hasn't even acknowledged the problems.

Havent been able to play at all, it just crashes when I try to start the game.

EA_Illium replied to a DM I had on this issue.

I detailed what was happening and that it is still happening.

I asked them to comment/post in one of these threads so people were aware it's being investigated+they can give more information if needed.
