PS5 system crash at the end of the game

I believe I’ve reached the point in the story that is about to enter the last stage of game play but now my PS5 is constantly crashing. It’s a whole system crash too. It will sometimes progress for like 5mins before it crashes but now it won’t even get to the main menu before it crashes. I’m on the latest patch of the game version too. This started even earlier in the last part of the game after getting through the main gate cutscene with the big battle but not as often but now the crashing and constant and game is unplayable. 

any idea if this is known or a fix coming?
