You need to find first the place where the crystal can be used. Rook will say something like "there must be a crystal somewhere close" then you can pick it.
Unfortunately, that isn't working. He says "I wonder what this is about" when I walk towards the spot where the crystal can be placed, but the crystal still cannot be picked up. I am on Xbox series S. This is the last chest I need and I'm at the point of no return :(
I see. My runs were on PC so it doesn't count. Have you tried to use second last autosave? Perhaps a script didn't trigger as it was suppose to.
Edit: Yeah, that crystal can be picked on PC version even before repairing the socket
Did you had the socket repaired?
