Rook's Face Changes when loading a save

Same issue..  I thought it was autosave but I just loaded a manual save and it happened also. Luckily I loaded the manual save again and it was fixed but no idea what is causing. Fingers crossed for early patch fix.

Yep same issue. Every time I load a save file it changes the appearance of my rook entirely and I have to go back to the mirror to change it it’s extremely frustrating 

Its a genuine bug because people have been reporting this since the game first released. For me I only have ever made 1 Rook and I still get this bug. 

Same here, I had to watch this bald guy for the whole weisshaupt mission it broke my heart it didn't feel like my Rook was making progress but an imposter 😭

Either that or my hair has disappeared, or when going into the inventory menu to change items on my character, its a bald old man, where my character is a female with hair and a young complexion. i have tried new loads restarting my computer etc. i know its not my specs on my computer either.

The only time it doesn't happen is if I start the game again and literally play the game without reloading at all, just continuously playing through, which is not ideal at all.

Ok so my fix for this (and many of my other issues) was buying an external ssd (u can get a 250gb off Amazon for $30) and reinstalling the game on that and I’ve had no load issues at all on pc now 

Same issue here. Made two different Rooks and both are having the same problem. Reloading sometimes work, mostly not if it's a manual save. Tried opening up the game slower, worked until it didn't. Now my Rook is stuck in a quest and I can't go to the lighthouse to fix their preset face issues. Other than reloading to an earlier save there really isn't anything I can do.

My PC is running Veilguard on a HDD, but I'm going to try moving it onto an SSD and see if that helps at all. I wonder if the bug testing was done on lower end PCs and equipment or high end stuff only because this is wild. No support with the patch either.

Same here. It's not every time and reloading the same save will fix it for me but very weird when it does happen. 

Swapped to an SSD. No problems with Rook's appearance resetting anymore.

Im so glad I’m not the only one who is experiencing this issue! But it still frustrating! Every time I die and have to restart from last save or wanna reload because I missed something I get the preset default. It’s been happening for me since the end with the lyrium ghoul and I yet to find a fix yet to it. 
can you even submit a ticket about this ? If so where ?
