I think this may not or only tangentially be related to the patch. I've had the same issue since before the patch.
Try loading a save from the Lighthouse. Sometimes that works.

Idc what the problem is,
Fix it
I'm not going back hours in gameplay just because EA/Bioware has quality management issues in a triple A game
I'm nog going to play this game if this can happened again, at any point in the game
This is unacceptable

BTW... Even the crossroads savegames won't load
I'm going to reinstall the game and see what happens

What helped for me was loading the save from Minrathous, saving manually, and then going back to the original save. But I agree, it's ridiculous that this even is a problem :/

The uninstall / reinstall solved the issues for me.
All my savegames were working after that

Okay, I have made some headway on this issue. I bought a new 1 TB SSD (internal), installed and formatted it, reinstalled DA on the SSD, and I was able to load up some of the previous saves I could not before. Prior to that, I was running (or trying to) everything off an external SSD. Both SSDs have plenty of storage, and the only difference is one being internal (installed into the Motherboard), and the other external (USB-slotted). That's it. If you're having trouble on an external (and EA REALLY should specify this), that could be the crux of the issue. So far so good.
