unable to use spacebar (dodge) and right mouse button

I have a steel series keyboard and mouse, and the dodge action using spacebard does not work. rebinding does not work. that means no matter what i bind dodge to, it still doesn't work. Same with right mouse button for ... I guess as a rogue it's supposed to shoot a bow? I wouldn't know because it does nothing.  Exited out of the game, exited out of the steel series software. started game back up but still the same issue. Have tried 'restoring to default' for control settings. Do not have a controller.

Using EA play pro

  • Alright, after reading some of the other issues i checked my bluetooth settings and even though i DO NOT have a controller connected, a year ago I paired a controller to play FF7 and it was still in my list of paired controllers. I went into the bluetooth settings and removed the device and the game works fine now.  Per another post the 'controller' was telling the game it was pressing the 'abilitiy select' button.  You can test this in your game, go to controller keybinds. Press G on one of the keybinds to clear it. Select it to set a new keybind and it immediately fills with...I think it was R2? and you can't select anything else. This indicates the controller is the issue.

Just remove any controller from the bluetooth pairing in your computer.
