Using controller on PC switching to keyboard mappings constantly

Literally the same thing. I'm using a bluetooth enabled stadia controller. I can Alt tab out of the game and go back in and the prompts will revert to the controller prompts, but it lasts about 1-2 minutes, then flips back to keyboard/mouse. Was looking for a fix.
