This is the second time in two weeks that a game has automatically updated when opening the app when I have automatic updates OFF. Always have, since the moment I was forced from the awful Origin to the even more faulty EA app. I checked last week after it happened - yep, updates off and yet....
I checked LAST NIGHT before shutting down to make sure they were off only to log in and have automatic updates begin. At best this app behavior is a show of incompetence and disdain. This is a widely reported, long-standing issue. Stop breaking games/mods and the thin strands of my patience.
