Please reconsider the 5-launch limit for GeForce NOW users
Hi EA
I’d like to suggest a change to the EA app for people who play EA games through GeForce NOW.
When I launch a game through GeForce NOW, it seems that each new session can be treated as a different computer. After launching the game around 5 times, I can get an error saying that I’ve used too many computers recently, and I’m unable to play for a while.
This is really frustrating because I’m not actually switching between 5 different personal computers — I’m using the same GeForce NOW service and the same EA account. Cloud gaming works differently from playing on a normal PC, so the current security limit can unintentionally lock legitimate players out of their games.
Could EA consider:
- Not counting each GeForce NOW session as a completely new computer, or
- Adding support for recognized cloud gaming services such as GeForce NOW, or
- Increasing/removing this limit when the account is being used legitimately through a cloud gaming service?
I understand why the security feature exists, but I think there should be a better solution for cloud gaming users.
Thanks for considering it!
