@FBS1994 When a refund is processed, that can take between 5-7 business days typically depending on your financial institution. When that timeframe passes, You can contact our live support at help.ea.com. To request a chat or open a case through email as they have to take a look into the account the purchase was made on. This is sadly not something we handle over the forums.

    This is the 7th business day, and i am still not seeing my supposedly refunded money on my original payment method.

    I contacted the EA customer support through live chat and waited for 30 minutes for my turn to show up.

    What a waste of time it was.

    When i asked about my refund that was marked as completed on the 30th of May 2023, the customer support representative basically repeated the same "it's going to happen in 7 to 10 business days" explanation.

    When i asked whether if the refund will really be completed today or the next Tuesday, he said - and i'm not kidding - "Yes, the refund will be completed in a couple of days".

    I don't want "a couple of days" as the answer here, especially after waiting for 7 business days for my refund!

    Not only does your app make it impossible to play the game that i had bought from it directly, by starting the download process after it is completed; but when i ask for a refund because of this reason, not only does EA falsely mark the refund process as "completed", but also does not actually complete the said refund as soon as possible.

    I hate this.

    @FBS1994 I hear there is a lot of frustration here and I am sorry that this has been going on. When refunds are processed, the timeframe is based on the financial institution it is being refunded back to. 5-7 business days is the norm for a refund. If it goes past a week and there is no refund sent back, live support has a separate set of steps to find out why a refund has not been provided yet. When live support processes that refund, it then basically leaves our hands because we are not the financial institution itself so we have no control over that being sent back. That part is on the payment method side once the request is put in.

    @EA_Shepard Yesterday, i had talked with a customer support representative from EA through live chat, and he said that the refunds are given in 7 to 10 business days, not 5 to 7 business days. Because of this, he outright refused to solve my refund issue, and basically insinuated for me to wait for the 10th business day to be finished as well. At the very least, in terms of how many business days that i have to wait for, what you have written here (the 5-7 business days statement) is proved to be wrong. Because this is the 8th business day and the problem is still not solved.

    @FBS1994 As per the refund article here it does state, You will get a response within forty-eight (48) hours after your request is submitted and your refund within seven (7) to ten (10) days if you meet the Great Games Guarantee refund requirements. If it has only been 8 days, then live support cannot take any action until the full refund time length has been reached. As we on the forums have no ability to modify this, you would need to wait the full term of the refund policy before any steps can be taken.
