Big problems with Giftcards

I would like to report an issue that has been affecting not only me but also many other customers in Germany. For more than 8 days now, EA gift cards have not been working properly. I purchased my card at Marktkauf. When it failed to activate, I returned to the store. The card was exchanged, and we tested several codes (e.g., starting with 6102 and 6039). None of them worked. Together with the store manager, we contacted the EDEKA head office and the responsible M&M GmbH. Both confirmed that there have already been multiple complaints regarding this exact problem. According to M&M GmbH, the codes were initially activated but then deactivated again. This means the issue does not lie with the retailer or the licenses. As of now, I have a valid €25 code that I cannot redeem on my EA account. I specifically want to use it to purchase an EA Play Pro subscription in order to play FC 26. What frustrates me most is: The problem has persisted for more than 8 days without resolution. There have been no official updates or clear communication from EA. In Live Chat, I was first told to “please wait” and later redirected to the retailer – even though the retailer and M&M GmbH both confirmed the cards are activated and valid. This clearly shows the issue lies with EA’s systems. It is unacceptable that so many customers have spent money on worthless cards and are left without answers. I urgently request an official statement and a proper solution.
