Can you play cross platform with your own account?

My son uses my EA account on PS5 to play Battlefield 2042.  I just bought 2042 on my Desktop.  So I own two copies on two platforms but with the same account.  Can we play with each other in the same...

Same issue, have purchased madden on 3 different platforms with the same ea id attached to the accounts but when trying to play i get booted stating the game is already in use.
