EA App achievements - 'Origin points'. Origin no longer supported?

I made a post 1 year ago requesting EA achievements in the PC GamePass App / EA Desktop / EA App and a lot of people agreed. ( Ea Play games in the Xbox Gamepass (PC) should give players Xbox Achievements - Answer HQ ) 

I've been checking the Trello board regularly, and today I was surprised when I saw that it was finally updated saying you guys will be adding achievements to the EA App, SO I REALLY APPRECIATE IT, THANKS FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART AND IN THE NAME OF ALL THE PC ACHIEVEMENTS HUNTERS OUT THERE. Although... I couldn't find 'Origin points' / 'EA Points' anywhere in the uploaded pics, this was something very important for me and for a lot of players that like to collect them as well as they like to collect achievements, we're basically the only ones who were requesting this feature. So I would like to ask, was this removed? This is basically like if Xbox removed 'gamerscore' in a new update or Steam removed 'Steam levels'. It's like moving the statue of liberty from NYC to another state, but it lost its head along the way.

I will try the new EA App with achievements, but if it doesn't have Origin Points sadly I will be forced to keep using Origin because I like collecting 'Origin points'. Is it possible to keep using Origin forever or it will be discontinued in a few months? I think both apps can coexist just fine, but after some updates the Origin launcher hinted that it might be completely replaced by the EA App in a few months.
