    Thanks for sharing your thoughts—and for the humour! We understand your frustration. While technology has advanced in many ways, the EA app isn’t officially supported on Linux at this time. This can make installation challenging, and unfortunately, we’re unable to provide troubleshooting for unsupported platforms.

The installation itself isn't challenging, it's the updates that bork the launcher which makes it unable to launch the installed games again even when running through Proton, Bottles or Wine.

I recently bought a new game on the EA App launcher because it seemed it has been stable for a while and I wanted to support the improvements but after a few weeks of playing it the launcher did its thing again.

Think it's time to consider no more EA games until there is at least a little team that supports the Linux side of things.
