EA desktop - Library won't load unless I clear cache

Ever since I was forced from Origin into the EA desktop app, I've had trouble accessing my games. First I could only start a game by manually shutting down the background processes. Now that seems to be fixed, but a new problem has risen in its place. I can only start up a game if I clear the app's cache, and then restart my PC. Otherwise the entire library will not load. The update from a few days ago did not help fix this issue. Is there a way to actually start up my games without having to go through these extra steps? Or do I just have to wait for a new update to hopefully fix this?

@AliciaMilona See if this helps you out.

    Delete Windows Temp Files

    • First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
    • Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
    • Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
    • Delete everything it allows you to delete
    • Reboot the PC

    Optional Registry clean-up

    • install CCleaner (it's free) from here
    • Run Registry cleaner
    • Click review selected issues
    • Do you want to back up? No
    • Click fix all selected issues

Something is causing the cache files to build up and not delete. Once you get rid of that, it should clear up.

The problem returns after some time. Presumably because quote "Something is causing the cache files to build up and not delete."

This is going to be a rinse and repeat solution then?
