EA Play - unable to install Dragon Age Origins W10 Pro

Question

Hello everyone,I've just finished ME Legendary and wanted to refresh DA series. I tried to install DA Origins using EA Play app, however I am not able to. I'm choosing path where I want to install it, clicking "ok" and nothing happens. The game is not on a download list, I can try to install it again, but it's the same - after choosing path nothing happens. I tried to run as admin, reinstall app, nothing helped.

I don't have issues with any other games, installed DA2 and Inquisition without any problems.

Is there any fix for that? I want to play all three games on the one platform to have my progress moved between them.

Spec: i5 10400, GTX 1080ti, W10 pro

I'm sorry to hear that, could you please post a screenshot of what you get to see?

The thing is that I have seen some reports about this and some workarounds. The workaround that seems to work for players is copying and pasting the path where you would like to install the game.&nbsp;

For me that would be: D:\Origin Games, as I set up a folder on my D drive to download and install all games.&nbsp;

Could you give it a go and let me know if it works? I would still appreciate the screenshot so that I can see what's happening to players.&nbsp;

@EA_Jason Hi, thanks for taking a look. The issue is that nothing happens, so I am not sure, how to capture this on screen. Basically after I choose path and I click download, the window closes, but download is not starting at all. I tried to paste the path as you mentioned, but it's the same issue. I also tried various different paths, but again didn't help.

So to wrap it up:
- I search for the game in the library
- Click on download
- Choosing path for game to be installed, clicking next
- Click on download
- Window disappear, no download started

And I can start it all over agan, always with the same result.

you can use the Windows Snipping Tool to take screenshots:&nbsp;

When you have saved the screenshot, then you can add it to your message on Answers HQ.&nbsp;

I have Dragon Age Origins d/l but when I try to play it gives me a DLC error.&nbsp; When I go into EA Desktop it is trying to d/l "Awakening" but it just sits there with bar streaming across screen.

For the error message that you can't start your save because of the DLC, please leave a reply in this thread.&nbsp;

For the downloading issues, go ahead an clear your cache via Help &gt; App Recovery &gt; Clear Cache.&nbsp;
