Using Sims 4 DLCs from both EA and Steam

Hi, so I found that EA no longer sells Sims 4 to my region lately, but I got the game and bought lots of packs from EA before that happened. I'm now interested in buying Businesses and Hobbies, and so far I haven't found any restrictions on Steam. 

So can I install the base game from Steam and purchase Businesses and Hobbies from Steam, while still accessing my packs from EA?
