Fxxking EA app uninstalled all my contents in its installation folder
Today I tried to uninstall EA app and reinstall it, as it created a shortcut and a version folder after the upgrade, rather than the original folder.
Then, a ridiculous thing happened: The uninstaller removed everything in its parent folder. Let's say, I installed it initially under C:\Games\EA app, together with other clients like Battle.net, GOG, Steam and Ubisoft. Then, this uninstallation process removed all its competitors.
And you know what, the contact us button in the help page just put me in the loop, continously asking which app you need help. Nowhere to go, then here is where the shxt will come out.
EA, you were lucky that I only put the game clients under this folder, rather than any important software. Otherwise, definitely I will sue you.

The EA app itself does not support being installed to a custom location on Windows.
From your description, the app was installed under C:\Games\EA app, alongside other software. That is not a supported installation configuration for the EA app.
Because the client was installed in an unsupported location, we cannot guarantee how installation, update, repair, or uninstall operations will behave in that configuration. This also means we cannot treat the removal of files from that directory as an issue occurring under a supported EA app installation.
I recommend reinstalling the EA app normally and leaving the client in its default installation location. You can still choose a separate location for your EA games.
