High CPU usage while downloading
I have high CPU usage while downloading. There was no such problem in the past. Looks like EA App is doing Bitcoin Mining. Why not! :/

at no time was my CPU stressed the way it was when downloading using the EA App
That's because the engineers forgot slow internet connections exist and built everything around fibre.
Find a fibre connection for a download and you'll see that this is not an exaggeration, my CPU was pegged 20C higher during a download on a slow connection that was barely a blip on fibre.
