How can I change the save location for Sims 4?

For some reason, my Sims 4 has started to save to Onedrive rather than my PC. This is really frustrating as it just fills up my onedrive unnecessarily! it never used to do this when on Origin but does now that it's on the EA app.

Does anyone have any suggestions? It's really annoying.

@hannahrosie365 Hey, following up with you on this one. Check out the thread Here It has a bunch of steps on how to change that. As for the Onedrive, unless you use it, I would personally just disable it so that it stops happening, Since Onedrive is automatic, you have to disable it, or just log out and turn it off.

  • @EA_Shepard This is not an acceptable answer. The My Documents folder is included in OneDrive as part of the Windows automatic backup feature and cannot be turned off if you are using File On Demand. It should be relatively easy for the application to switch to either the AppData or LocalAppData directory to store these types of files per Microsoft recommendations.

Which is a lot easier to do than cobbling together the path to the documents folder in Python by the way. Or any other language for that matter.
