With the latest update we added the functionality where you can create a desktop shortcut when installing a game.
What do you think?
Right click the game cover in Steam > Manage > Add Desktop Shortcut.
If that don't works then there is a problem in Steam, EA app has nothing to do with this.

Why do some people not even make an effort to read past and partly the last comment?
1- "How do you create game shortcut on EA Desktop APP",
2- "if so , open the EA app on the desktop , click my collection, find the game you want to add shortcut to desktop and click the 3 dots in the top right corner of the tile"
3- " Within the three dots, these are my only options: - Play - Time played: - Manage on Steam. I went to Steam and there is an option in Settings/Manage/Add Desktop Shortcut, but it still didn't work."
