Hello,how to change only the language of BF2042 to english in EA App?Until yesterday i used Origin, but then Origin only show the option to install EA App and can't be used anymore.I played other "EA games" in german, and only want to play BF titles in english.How is this possible in this EA App?

@theoxxworld What language is available is based on the language of the initial game purchase. When you install the EA App, the best thing to do is chose English first. Then, when you install the game, you would choose English or the language you want. If that language isn't there, your specific copy does not support it.It defaults to the language you own and have it set to: If this is set to another language click the change button and swap to English. If that is not there, you have a copy of the game that does not have this or is a corrupted download in which case a reinstall is preferred.

@HaggiHack Looks like I changed the settings in Origin in the past as well, but since I still believe, that I am smarter than most smart applications I always run everything I am able to, in English.

@EA_Atic might be have an idea, but I guess it is still the same issue with the EA App since 2021, not supporting game language setup in a way as the Origin client did.

Maybe someone knows of an advanced option to change the game language.

Hey @HaggiHack,

I've moved your post to the EA app boards. 🙂

To change the install language of BF2042 via the EA app, you have to reinstall the game in the language that you want to install it in.

During the download/install process of the game, it asks you in what language you want to install it. Next to that, it has a button that has "Change" on it. When you click that, you can choose any available install languages of the game.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app and the sims 4 game 3 times and still can't get yhelanguage to be in English.

You all do it so hard❤️ (Just open The Registry) go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA Games\Battlefield 2042 click ---Locale--- Change to the Specific Language you want for example en_US click ok close Registry Start game. Display & Audio now in English

@Medican Hello, what is your youtube channel / video link for the tutorial how to change the language of the game ? I tried to change it with origin but I can't use it because there is a message to install ea app so I can't use it.
