Is there a setting to completly close the EA app on exit?

I recall a option on Origin that would shut the app down on exit but I can't find such option in the new EA App. Rather, the app will instead default to minimizing to the background but stay running....

If you have the XBox app installed, this is one possible cause because it has EA integration. If you go to your profile pic -> Settings -> Extensions you can disable the EA App integration. For me doing so immediately closed the processes EA had in the background without me needing to end task or click anything in the system tray etc.

That worked for me^ i was finally able to close the EA app through the task manager just had to disable the extension on the Xbox app like you saidKinjiruRM​
