Is there a way to force the EA app open in offline mode?

I was so flippin' close to buying the brand new horse ranch DLC - SO CLOSE - but then I remembered how yesterday the EA servers went down right as I got off work, and I couldn't play the single player game that I've spent so much money on. It's beyond parody.

But they won't go out of business, and they won't listen to us. As long as they hold the licenses to the sport franchises, they'll be fine. Good thing they lost exclusivity to the Star Wars IP though.
