Trying to play on Steam but needs Link2EA app which wont work help ???
I fixed by completely uninstalling origin, then booting through steam. The steam system then reinstalled origin and SW:JFO worked first time.

@Falknado I have a similar problem, I downloaded it on steam I didn't play and tried to install a dlc (when it apapeared saying that link2ea was needed) I saw people saying that need to unistall the origin but I don´t have installed on my pc (I don't have an origin account either). Please. Can someone help me?
The same thing is happening to me, and it's not in microsoft store, and I don't have origin installed.

- @madisoncw05 I figured it out for the sims 4, you need to install origin, and have an EA acount if you're downloading from steam. I'm having problems with 2 non EA games, Kerbal space program gives me resolution error on start, and skater xl turns on to a black screen with game music, and then crashes. Hopefully this will work for you.
bonjour je vien d'acheté les sims 4 mais quans je le lance sa me dit probleme de link2ae et j'ai vu qu'il fallait origin mais quand je veut telecharger origin sa me dit ( impossible d'executer le code car MSVCP140.dll est introuvable . la reinstallation du programme peut corriger ce probleme . savez vous comment il faut faire ?
