Trying to play on Steam but needs Link2EA app which wont work help ???
I fixed by completely uninstalling origin, then booting through steam. The steam system then reinstalled origin and SW:JFO worked first time.

I also have this problem. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Origin, Reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, Updating Windows, Reinstalling the game. and Clearing Cache of Origin. None of them worked.
I just recently bought the bundle. it is frustating that none of them are working.
EA Desktop Beta installs fine. My guess is they overwrote a server validation or function that lets Origin work. I can play anything the Desktop app supports. ME:LE isn't there yet, or the 3rd party connection isn't up. Try loading your games from there. FAQ and Help desk will keep recycling you through cache, clean boots, and other old bug fixes til the Devs patch it out.
