Mods
I was wondering if the games available in ea play are able to be modded? Specifically Dragon Age Origins(I just want a simple text resize mod for 4k). I can't seem to locate the .exe file location.

I'm not sure specifically about Dragon Age: Origins, but EA Desktop doesn't support command line arguments, so you can't set the datapath for Frosty Mod Manager mods like you could do with Origin. We can only hope for an update that adds command line arguments back for mod support on Frosty games.
For me as an EA Play member I was hoping to play Mass Effect Andromeda modded, but am unable to. On the other hand, I play SW Battlefront 2 modded on Origin no problem.
DAO mods will work on the EA Play version as well.
You also don't need Frosty for DAO, it is a Eclipse-Engine game.
The location of the Exe depends on the edition of the game you have:
">Drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age\bin_ship" or
">Drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age\bin_ship"
Might be "Dragon Age - Ultimate Edition" instead of "Dragon Age"
I made another post addressing this and a pretty simple workaround with environment variables:
Thanks for the batch, much appreciated!
But in this case it is not necessary. Op is asking about DAO and DAO is not a Frostbite game.
The location of the Exe of the game I have is actually
">Drive<:\Program Files\EA Games\Dragon Age\bin_ship
I had thought it'd be in the program 86 as well but eventually found it there.
