Mouse stuttering/lag when EA Desktop Beta is open

RTX 3070

Ryzen 5 3600

16 GB RAM

Windows 10 19042

Logitech G403 - latest drivers

Whenever the EA Desktop Beta app is open my mouse movement is stuttering and janky.

When I close or minimise the app, after about 10 seconds it returns to normal.

You need to add it to the list.

NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > Add

If the EA Desktop is not in the list > Search > Find the "eadesktop.exe." on your Hard drive, (C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop) select the exe > OK.

  • Thanks for the idea, though EA Desktop doesn't appear in the list of programs in Manage 3D settings.

  • I also have the same issue, but when playing games through the EA app, the app uses a tremendous amount of cpu usage that it start to stutter my pc. More than viable pc setup also. Origin does not do this when playing the same games, mainly BF5/BFV.
