Playing without internet

When I used origin I could play without internet. Now I can’t with the EA app. Is there a way around this since I have no internet on my pc because of Helene. I bought all the sims games that’s on my pc. I did not rent them or borrow them.  I should be able to play them when I want.  I shouldn’t have to log into some ones app to say hey can I please play something I own?  I have almost every sims game that’s been made. I own them every one of them out right. This makes me angry yall. FIX this.

    @Gwendelyn Hi,

    The EA app has and supports an offline mode. If you have a game installed via the EA app that supports offline play, you can play it without an internet connection. However, it is possible that sometimes, every once in a while, the EA app needs to connect to the servers to authenticate the games again in relation to your account, so you can continue using offline play at a later time.

    What part of “I don’t have internet because of Helene” do  y’all not get. I can’t go online to authenticate my game, which I shouldn’t have to do because I own them, have the majority of cases with serial code and I keep receipts to show. Y’all just need to let me have all my game start icons back so I can play without asking permission from y’all with that dumb assed launcher. I’ve been trucking along just fine without it all these years. I own the sims, the sims 2, the sims 3 and now the sims 4 which I paid for. It’s stupid but you can bet your last dollar I’ll never buy anything else from y’all because if this issue right here. I can’t play sim city or any of my other games I purchased without having to go online. So I’m done with y’all.  I wish I had all the money I’ve invested back in my pocket

    Same here but from Milton. Now i have internet back but for 5 days nothing, none of my 70$ games worked, play offline button will not come up anymore. i looked into it and no hits, it is like everyone is scared. if you find out please let me know.
