Previously Used Card Is Now Being Declined

I've been attempting to make a purchase with a prepaid card on the app but it has been repeatedly declined. At first I thought it might have been an issue with the shopping cart feature so I tried to make an individual purchase only to get declined again. I've checked the balance and the funds can definitely cover the cost. I used the same card to make three separate purchases three months ago from the store and had no issue (I have the order confirmations for all three). The only transactions on the card are those past three purchases from EA so there is no other activity that could possibly be interfering. I'm at a total loss here. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Please try the following steps to clear this up:

    • Remove and re-add your payment method from your account
    • Make sure the location on your account matches your real location
    • Remember international exchange rates and other taxes or fees when you’re making your purchase. For example, a $50 prepaid card may not work for a game that costs $49.99. Make sure you have enough to cover any additional fees.
    • Check if your prepaid card has a single transaction limit. Some may have spend limits per purchase.

If you still have issues once you've run through these steps, we'll need the live support team to investigate into this a bit further, as we don't have access to review your account details here on the forums.
