Product deleted from account

I purchased a retail copy of BF1 and activated the key through origin and having been playing this on my account since 2016. I recently purchased BF1 on steam thinking it would be easier to play with friends and linked my steam account to EA account.

After doing this the steam version of BF1 has overwritten my original key and I am no longer able to access BF1 directly from the EA app. It was installed and running  from a different directory than the steam version but even after unlinking my steam account the EA app only acknowledges that I have the steam version.

My original retail key that I had activated has been wiped from my account and because I did not purchase the game through the EA platform there is no record of this except from my game time time and achievements.

I should have 2 versions of BF1 on my account, the steam version and the EA version like it used to show in the old Origin app. When I purchased the steam version, nowhere did it say any product would be deleted from my account. Likely I will not be able to find the original retail box since it was almost 10 years ago
