So... Is this fixed? I would really want to get a try on EA App but
could not find any launch options for my Apex Legends settings.
Thanks!

There is an option My collection under Apex select ... and get a View properties. There is your advanced launch options, but dont bother entering anything there.. Its just a bogus windows doing nothing.

Hey @t5ny,
I am not aware of an issue regarding this since it wasn't a feature of the EA app until recently, so I wonder what there is to fix? 🙂
But yes, due to player feedback, the Advanced Launch option has indeed recently been implemented in the EA app. This can be accessed via the 3-dot menu (when hovering over a game tile) > View properties > there you should see a text field called "Advanced launch options", where you should be able to enter the preferred config.
@Salo_MnK, is this not working for you? the advanced launch options doesnt let me type anything in it
Hi, i have the same problems, i want to use the advanced launch options that I have with origin but they don't work with the EA app did you find a fix?
- @EA_Leeuw Great work!

@DWD3O4 @orioLLLLLL, hey there! What are you trying to enter in the Advanced Launch Options text window that isn't working for you?
Literally anything, I first thought that the code(copy and pasted from Origin start options to EA Desktop) was just wrong or written differently. So I removed the start options step by step so i could find out the problem. I also tried "/", "-", and "--" infront of the commands but it also didnt work. Then i tried typing just anything into it and as soon as i typed a letter or number, It said: Invalid Sign, make sure you use valid alphanumeric and special characters. It also doesnt work with "/", "-", or "--".

@DWD3O4, could you please mention what you tried to submit, what you have in the advanced launch options field for a game via Origin? So for example, i cant put in "+exec autoexec", and i tried it in every way. You just cant write anyting in it because you get the "invalid sign" text in red underneath, so I cant safe it.

@DWD3O4, regarding the commands that you wanted to use for the specific game that you wanted to launch via the EA app, were you able to use these commands via the advanced launch options if you want to launch the game via Origin? yes, it works perfectly fine on origin. But like i said. I cant confirm that it doesnt work on EA-Desktop beacause I just cant type anything in it like I mentioned in the previous messages.

@DWD3O4, gotcha. This is exactly the info I was looking for. Thanks! I've passed the feedback on to the teams. 🙂 - @DWD3O4 same for me
I am having the same issue when trying to disable packs on Sims 4. This worked fine on Origin app, but the text box on EA app gives an error message - as soon as you type anything into it - for me as well.
This worked fine before and a lot of Sims content creators often disable packs to make builds with limited packs, so I know for this community it is a crucial feature to disable packs with commands.
Please let me know when this is fixed? Thx@strooooble Its fixed for me now. Have you tried using „/„ or “-„ because „+“ doesn’t work anymore. And these “ “ also don’t work. It works the same just without them so you leave one space free and then type in the number. If you want to type in a launch option you have to do it like this: /exec autoexec and not like this +exec autoexec.
Yes I've tried to start with - and it doesn't work for me either. ☹️
- @DWD3O4 yeah no it doesnt work. Like litterary nothing works. As soon as you even put a / in the launch options its like "NOPE * YOU"
Hmm… Do you have the latest update installed or tried to reinstall EA-Desktop? I can use it without any issues. I don’t know why it doesn’t work
Sorry I actually uninstalled the EA app now and went back to Origin to get the advanced launch options back, so I can't test it anymore. But my app was up to date until a couple of days ago when I removed it, and no, it didn't work. At which point I made the decision to revert to Origin.

@strooooble, that's fine and understandable. It's totally up to you!
If you ever install the EA app again and want to test this specific feature & if you run into any issues, feel free to update the thread. 🙂 Hello,
seems like the last update sort of fixed the problem, at lest youn can now type in something (f.e. "-exec autoexec" works).
Unfortunatly, I still have a problem with this command for Need for Speed Rivals: "-GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+". (It will remove the 30 FPS cap and set it to the number entered, which for me is crucial to play the game)
I still get the invalid character message from bevor. The message is caused by the ".", which seems to be an invalid character, but without the "." the Command will not work.
The Command worked fine with Origin.
Also Unfortunatly, I do not own NFS Rivals and play it via EA Play, which I have via Xbox Game Pass. Because Origin does not support EA Play via Game Pass, reverting to Origin is not a workarround for me.
