The secondary name is your EA app nickname. You won't be able to remove this entirely, but should be able to change it through the EA app specifically.

Rather than going to Settings > My account > My profile > Manage, which will only let you update your EA ID (Sno314 in this case), the nickname has to be updated in the EA app directly.

If you click your profile picture in your friends list to bring up the Online/Away/Invisible options, click My profile from this location. That should let you then select an Edit Profile button under this secondary nickname that will let you change it.

What is the purpose of the nickname? What is its purpose? I thought it was a way to hide your username within games, but my EA ID keeps showing up, so I'd like to know if it has a specific purpose.

It doesn't seem to work anymore. The button is missing. Are there any updates? Thanks in advance!
