Summarize your bug Download speeds for games on EA App are incredibly slow, this is not an issue on my end as other programs like Steam and Epic Games are completely normal.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to update or repair a game
What happens when the bug occurs? At first the download speed is normal, however after 1-2 seconds it plummets down to around 20kb per second, well below my usual 40MBps.
What do you expect to see? The game download at a normal speed, just like it does in other apps.
I have seen this bug reported numerous times online, have tried every supposed fix provided by EA, still the problem persists.
My regular download speed is 40MB per second, Games on other applications such as Steam and Epic Games work fine, however anything I try to update or download on the EA app is at an absolute snails pace of 20KB per second. My download speed on the EA app is set to unlimited, I've tried clearing the cache multiple times, checked my firewall, disabled backround programs, even tried a couple of solutions on reddit, still stuck at this very low speed.
This only started occurring about a week ago, before that I had no issues with download speeds and I haven't changed any settings which could of caused this issue to persist. I'm completely stumped and any working solution would be much appreciated.
