Starting EA App Offline

Hi,

My internet was down for most of today so I tried go build in the Sims to pass the 2 hours I was on hold for with the broadband company but I couldn't play any of my EA games because the app wont start in offline.

So I did some googling on my phone and this is apparently a know issue but Origins still works that way. Then I discovered Origin is no longer on my computer.

Okay... 

Now I have internet again I just redownloaded Origin in case this happens again only to find Origin is blocked by a popup insisting I download the app.

Is there a way to remove this popup so Origin is usable again or is there something in the app I can select that tells it that if there's no internet connection to load the game anyway?

    Hey @maclatte it is no longer possible to use Origin for EA games, to continue playing you will need to use the EA app.

    Okay, how can I make it so that if I don't have an internet connection the app lets me play my games?

    You stop buying EA games in the EA app, and only buy them if offered in Steam.  Power to the players!
