I bought The Witcher 3 back in 2015 when EA app was still Origin. Now CDPR is releasing a free update of the game which will include all DLC's and the remastered version. I saw no information regarding users that bought the game in Origin/EA app. Will I be able to get the free update or not?

I'm going to wait until October 1st, since that's the deadline for the Steam promotion to buy the game at a discount.

Why is there no Witcher 3 remaster available???
No response from ea, gog or cdpr when I emailed and opened a support ticket hours ago this morning. Keep asking until cdpr acknowledges us. We paid for the full game, in my case the goty edition. We should be sent a steam or gog key.
Pity bad I not found a upgrad in EA app. I'll find a proplem on internet and now found this colum too sad EA leave a big sh-it proplem
Well I certainly won't give EA another cent of my money that's for sure.
I also own The Witcher 3 through Origin and can still access the existing game in the EA App without any problems.
My issue is only the new free Remastered upgrade, which currently appears to exclude Origin / EA App owners.
I contacted EA Support. After several replies and some misunderstandings, they confirmed that Customer Support cannot really resolve this and that my feedback would be submitted for review. They also recommended supporting relevant threads here in the forum.
In parallel, I have contacted CD Projekt RED Support as well, but I have not received a response yet.
The main question remains: what happens to customers who legitimately bought The Witcher 3 through Origin when other PC owners receive the Remastered upgrade for free?
If EA no longer distributes the Remastered version, there should be some migration, redemption or transfer option for existing Origin customers.

Well CDPR responded saying "yeah sorry, not happening. Thanks for the money, please buy again somewhere else"
