The Witcher 3 Free Update

I bought The Witcher 3 back in 2015 when EA app was still Origin. Now CDPR is releasing a free update of the game which will include all DLC's and the remastered version. I saw no information regarding users that bought the game in Origin/EA app. Will I be able to get the free update or not?

I sure hope so, but I'm not holding my breath. I remember the last big update it took a long time for EA to release it and only after a bunch of people complained.
