Why am I getting forced to install EA App?
every time i open origin it softlocks me into a window that suggests to install ea app. now i thought okay its forcing me to install this must be a good reason but no. i log in with the right account...

There was a brief window of time where Origin was still usable after the EA app came out.
So far, my biggest issue with the EA app is the fact that inviting friends doesn't work in some games. Hopefully, they'll actually fix this and make the app functional but I am not holding my breath. Origin at least had this basic functionality.
Perhaps they should have invested more time in making the app work instead of making it look fancy.

I've seen your posts about not even being able to install the app. That's pretty awful since you can't even access games that you paid for.
I truly miss the days when you could run your games without needing any third-party software to run in the background.Me to. It's disgusting that paying customers are supposed to shut up and just accept it.
