RESOLVED Outage May 22nd, 2024. "Games have been removed from your library" Message in EA app
Hi all,
We are seeing RECOVERY of the temporary problem which started on May 22nd at 8 am UTC, which was unintentionally impacting some users, causing them to see the message *"Games have been removed from your library" or *"You don't have access" error on the EA app more frequently than expected.
Recent reports in this forum thread seem to confirm this trend. Thank you for reporting this to us!
If you continue to experience the issue, please perform an EA app App Recovery (clear cache) by following the steps here, or reboot the client or machine.
*It's important to understand that both scenarios can also be triggered by valid, non-temporary reasons. For further details on these, please refer to the following links:

Thank you all for expressing your concerns about the "Games have been removed from your library" notification in the EA app (see below).
We want to assure you that this feature is functioning as intended. Its recent implementation aims to reduce the number of inquiries about missing games or DLCs and provide clarity on why such items have been removed from your library. By clicking on the "VIEW DETAILS" button on the right side of the message, you can see a list of all the games that have been removed and the respective reasons for their removal.
These reasons may include, but are not limited to:
Expiration of an EA Play membership,
Sunset of games due to discontinued online services,
Removal of games due to fraudulent activities,
And more.
Often, the message providing the reason for removal includes a link to an EA Help article explaining the rationale behind it.
If you encounter the message "Unlisted reason" when viewing the details, it could be due to various factors, such as:
The game no longer being available in EA Play,
Sunset of the game,
Payment issues,
Problems with your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (XGPU) x EA Play connection (if you use this),
Voluntary removal by the account holder or parent,
Billing issues,
Or self-removal of the game from the account when it was previously claimed via EA Play (a feature previously available in Origin for PC but not in the EA app).
We hope this information clears up any confusion you may have.
If you're still unsure why certain items were removed from your account, please don't hesitate to contact our Support team via EA Help by following https://help.ea.com/help/faq/using-ea-help. They'll help explain why those items got removed or tackle any other problems you're dealing with.
I tried playing Star wars Jedi Survivor. I own it on Steam. I have never used EA Play and have bought ALL of my games. But Most games were deleted from my account due to unspecified reasons.
It Takes Two, Mirrors Edge 1 & 2, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor, Star wars Battlefront 2 (But not 1), and More were all deleted because "They were downloaded from another person on my Computer." My account is the only one that has ever been on my computer.
